We are currently searching for an experienced, high energy professional Provider Relations Specialist to join our growing Provider Relations Department. You will be tasked with organizing and completing operational activities related to the needs of Monarch providers. Responsibilities include client services related to claims questions, authorizations for specialty services, health plan education and issue resolution.
Duties:
* Identifies, researches and resolves provider issues
* Develop strong relationships with providers that produce loyalty and trust
* On-site training of new and existing staff and/or physicians
* Coordinate and participate in office staff/physician training for various Monarch departments and initiatives
* Create and distribute education materials to provider offices
* Assist and coordinate health plan/provider disputes to a successful resolution
* Coordinate and attend joint operational meetings with hospitals, specialty groups and health plans
* Attend meeting such as GMM, OMM and others
Qualifications:
* 2 year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Marketing, Health Care Administration or other related field
* 2 to 3 years experience or training with a solid understanding of health plans, eligibility, or health care benefits
* Prior experience in a similar role for a similar health care organization strongly desired
* Strong MS Office skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
* Stellar communication skills; able to communicate detailed health care information to both experienced and novice members of the health care community
* Positive attitude with a focus on team!
* Bi-lingual Vietnamese or Spanish strongly desired
