Who We Are

More than 20 years ago, a group of independent physicians came together to create an environment where they could provide a more innovative and comprehensive healthcare experience for their patients. That idea quickly caught on, expanding throughout the years to become what is known today as Monarch HealthCare.

Our record of stability and high standards speak for themselves, as we are still owned and operated by the same people who founded this company more than 20 years ago. We are backed by more than 400 loyal employees who work extremely hard every day to get the job done well and make sure our patients feel "The Monarch Difference."

Our business is made up of four different operations, including Orange County Hospital Physicians, Premiere Physicians Medical Group, Monarch Health Plan, and Physicians Choice Insurance Services. Each of these play an important role in making sure that quality healthcare gets delivered to patients in an efficient manner and at a reasonable price.

Here's a look at each operation:

Monarch Healthcare a Medical Group

We are a multi-faceted medical group located in Orange County, California, that provides a number of medical-related services to consumers, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies. Our network currently consists of 2,600 independent physicians, 18 hospitals, and more than 30 urgent care centers.

Orange County Hospital Physicians

OCHP are board certified internal medicine doctors who specialize in acute care medicine. Our Hospitalists Physicians are experts in caring for complicated hospitalized patients on a daily basis. Founded in 2005, Orange County Hospitalist Physicians, Inc. is our hospitalist group dedicated to caring for Monarch HealthCare patients when they are admitted to any of our contracted Orange County hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.

Premier Physicians Medical Group

This is a team of highly-qualified, Board Certified primary and specialist physicians who emphasize quality care in a compassionate environment. Our physicians and staff employ state-of-the-art technology to provide comprehensive, personalized care in the local communities we serve.
